In 2010, Warby Parker was founded by four individuals to bring affordable prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses to those in need. Warby Parker started with a small investment of $2500. The company is an excellent example of a small business that focuses on the consumer. The company continues to grow in the business world today, bringing affordable glasses to their consumers.
Jeff Raider, Andrew Hunt, Neil Blumenthal, and David Gilboa created a business model focused on online sales. The company started off due to concerns of not being able to find affordable glasses. The company has sold and shipped over 500,000 pairs of glasses. In addition, the company has donated over 500,000 glasses. Here are some pros of Warby Parker.

Three great points
(1) Home Try-On Campaign
Nervous about buying eyeglasses online? Don’t worry, you simply pick five frames from Warby Parker to try on. The frames will be shipped to your home for free. Try them out for five-days, purchase the frame you like online, and simply return the frames in a box back to Warby Parker.
(2) Buy A Pair, Give a Pair
Want to help someone in need? For every pair of eyeglasses purchased from Warby Parker, there is a pair of glasses that are donated to someone in need? The company works with VisionSpring and other partners worldwide to help with the distribution of the eyeglasses.
(3) Personalized Experience
Love your new eyeglasses? You can show off your new glasses by posting a picture on the company’s social media sites. Warby Parker encourages direct communication from their consumers through social media sites and customer reviews on their website. This is a great marketing strategy.
Warby Parker uses technology to help connect to their consumers and personalized their experience. Here is a video from their YouTube channel:
In conclusion, according to the case study, I feel the company has great opportunities for those in need. I have not ordered from Warby Parker, but after completing this case study, I see great benefits with purchasing from the company. Look for an updated post in the future after I have purchased from them.
